Accounting AP Supervisor Hybrid Role –3 days onsite, 2 days remote Location: Near Newport, OR (Siletz area)
We're partnering with a mission driven organization to find an Accounting AP Supervisor who will lead accounts payable operations, oversee reconciliations, and ensure compliance with financial standards. This role offers hybrid flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact while working with a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Accounts Payable staff and clerks;act as departmental supervisor in the Controller's absence
Manage daily banking functions and reconcile assigned General Ledger accounts
Review transactional entries, receipts, and monthly exception reports
Investigate and correct coding errors in accounts payable
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, schedules, and summaries
Complete bank reconciliations and assist with audits and program reviews
Provide expenditure reports and technical guidance to program staff
Support preparation of the annual SEFA for audit
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business, plus two years of full-charge accounting experience (or equivalent education/experience)
1+ year of supervisory experience preferred
Knowledge of computerized accounting systems, government program contracts, and fund accounting (preferred)
Strong ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely
Skilled in analyzing and interpreting financial data for accuracy
Solid interpersonal skills and flexibility to occasionally work evenings/weekends
