Overview
We’re hiring an experienced Accounting Manager or Controller to lead the property accounting function and partner directly with the CFO. This is a hands-on, strategic role focused on process improvement, audit readiness, and team leadership. You’ll play a key part in cleaning up legacy systems, building out new workflows, and shaping the internal audit structure.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all property accounting activities across ~1, 500 units
  • Build and refine accounting processes and internal controls
  • Collaborate with the CFO to design and implement internal audit procedures
  • Lead and mentor accounting staff, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Prepare accurate financial reports and support external audits
  • Identify and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, including property accounting
  • Prior experience managing accounting teams
  • Strong understanding of audit principles;internal audit experience preferred
  • Solution-oriented mindset with a track record of process improvement
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • CPA or equivalent credential is a plus, but not required
