We are seeking an experienced Estimator with 8-10 years of heavy and marine construction experience. This role will focus primarily on estimating, but as part of a small team, you'll also support various project-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimate project costs from plans, including heavy construction (pile driving, concrete, DOT, utilities) and marine work (docks, sheet piling, breakwaters).
Prepare prequalification submittals, project schedules, and other bidding documents.
Research and identify new projects for bid.
Work closely with the team to learn our estimating processes and become self-sufficient.
Qualifications:
8-10 years in heavy/marine construction with at least 3 years in a superintendent, project manager, or similar role.
5+ years of full-time estimating experience.
Civil engineering background preferred.
Strong computer and estimating software skills.
Must be willing to work in Branford, CT (no remote work).
