Financial Reporting Analyst - Direct Hire, Full-Time Employee

Issaquah, WA - hybrid schedule (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

Position Summary

The Financial Reporting Analyst plays a key role in the preparation and review of the Company's internal and external financial statements, including assisting with the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, and ensuring compliance with U.S. Generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). This accountant is responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and support of the Company's financial reporting software packages, including SAP GL, OneStream, among others. The accountant is also responsible for assisting with metadata maintenance placement as well as end user support. This accountant works with the Company's accounting departments and subsidiaries to compile and review the consolidated income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows along with a multitude of supporting schedules.

 

Experience, skills, education & licenses/certification required:
  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or equivalent with a minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance fields.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, consolidations, and financial statement presentation.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge with an aptitude for learning new software applications and systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a stressful and deadline driven environment and strive for excellence while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy.
  • Ability to work with all levels of company personnel and external third parties, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred experience:

using Onestream, SAP or equivalent, and Google Applications
