Job Description

Accounts Payable Associate (Contract –6–12 Months)
Onsite: 5 days/week for first 60–90 days, then Mon–Wed onsite Potential to convert to FTE: Yes, based on performance Focus: Construction payables & subcontractor payments

Purpose
Support daily Accounts Payable operations, system administration, and customer service within the ERP environment. Ensure accurate, timely processing of invoices, vendor activity, and construction related payables.
Key Responsibilities

  • Process daily AP transactions, invoice imports, corrections, and vendor reconciliations

  • Manage invoice workflow, including release/hold queues

  • Support subcontractor payables and construction related AP requirements

  • Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and AP records

  • Assist with process improvements, procedures, and administrative tasks

  • Provide responsive customer service to internal and external stakeholders

  • Perform additional AP duties as needed
Requirements

  • 3+ years Accounts Payable experience;construction AP/subcontractor payments strongly preferred

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and deadline management

  • Ability to multitask and support a high volume AP environment

  • Intermediate MS Office (Word, Outlook);advanced Excel preferred

  • Accurate data entry and 10 key proficiency

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Associate degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent experience

  • Experience with large ERP systems (Tier 1 or 2) preferred

  • SharePoint experience a plus
