Job Description

Temp Service Accounting Specialist –approx. 4 months
Location: Seattle, WA
Pay: $25–$32/hr.
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO)

Role Overview We’re looking for a highly organized, detail driven Service Accounting Specialist to support accurate billing, cost verification, and service call processing. This role partners closely with field teams, customer support, and accounting to ensure clean invoicing, timely issue resolution, and reliable financial records. Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced, service driven environment and enjoys digging into details to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and submit accurate service invoices
  • Work with field technicians and managers to confirm labor, materials, and job costs
  • Process credits, cost transfers, labor rate adjustments, and non billable service call documentation
  • Maintain organized billing files and respond to customer or internal billing inquiries
  • Support continuous improvement of billing workflows and cost tracking accuracy
What You Bring
  • 1+ year of billing or accounting support experience
  • Construction or field service industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate clearly
  • Onsite availability for the first 90 days;hybrid schedule (3 days/week onsite) thereafter
