Job Description

Essential Functions:
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Focus on General Ledger entry and reconciliation of AR & AP operations.
  • Perform primary review of AR functions to include daily processing of OTC transactions, cash and check deposits, petty cash, starting cash, daily deposit log and SAP entries.
  • Perform primary review of AP functions to include handling weekly bill payments, researching invoices, handling vendor files, and assisting with monthly reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with Business Office to process refunds in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Review and maintain positive pay for all accounts within online banking platform.
  • Complete daily review of bank account activity for adjustments or necessary record keeping.
  • Provide support to Business Office and Front Office staff regarding OTC transactions.
  • Reconcile all Accounts Payable & Receivables monthly with bank statements, SAP Accounting software and EPIC.
  • Maintain accounting records in accordance with compliance statutes. To include annual shredding of records no longer needed and regular record movement to storage facility.
  • Reconcile secondary AR invoices and payments. Ensure proper billing of additional services and subleases.
  • Maintenance and creation of supply chain procedures and reconciliations.
  • Promptly identify problems and effectively utilize resources to address problems in a satisfactory manner.  Maintain quality of service during periods of increased or decreased work load. 
  • Demonstrate positive interpersonal relations and communication in dealing with physicians, vendors, visitors, co-workers, management staff and other employees in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn unfamiliar tasks and equipment operation within the scope of position and to accept change in a positive and professional manner.
  • Weekly reporting to the Controller.
  • Apply problem solving and conflict resolution skills where needed. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
