Warehouse & Inventory Operations Contractor General Description
We are seeking a contractor/coordinator to support warehouse operations, inventory management, competitive purchasing, and the company's transition to a modern inventory management system. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, organizing warehouse activities, placing and tracking orders, managing material distribution, and assisting with the implementation of improved inventory controls and digital tracking processes. The contractor will work closely with management to move the company from paper based tracking to a streamlined electronic system.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory levels and enforce inventory controls
Execute competitive purchasing, including placing and tracking orders
Control and track materials taken from the warehouse
Track company tool assets and ensure accountability
Organize and maintain warehouse operations and company facilities
Assist with process improvements and inventory system standardization
Provide daily reporting to supervisors on purchasing and inventory status
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of electrical parts, materials, and inventory management
Experience using ServiceTitan (or similar platforms), particularly inventory and purchasing functions
Background in warehouse management and purchasing
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Ability to implement efficient inventory processes and controls
Moderate technical/computer proficiency, including inventory software
